My approach

No two counselling journeys are ever the same

Understanding your unwanted emotions, troubling thoughts and unhelpful reactions can improve your mood, perceptions, decisions, and actions. To help you achieve this, I combine a variety of counselling approaches tailored to your needs, preferences and the stage we are at in our work together.


With sensitivity, I tune in to your emotions and listen without judgement or preconceptions. I can also support you to learn and practise a range of coping strategies to help you feel better and build resilience. 
I respect that you are the expert on yourself and instinctively know what is right for you. Using my knowledge, skills and experience, I can help you to be guided by your intuition.

My approach integrates person-centred, relational, systemic, parts assimilation and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).
